Our History
Since 1943
Cazenovia Liquors has remained a South Buffalo icon that
continues to offer convenience and value to our community
through today's modern lifestyle demands.
Cazenovia was originally built and founded by the late John
Pappas in 1943. Pappas and his wife ran the small store
while residing upstairs for more than 40 years, all while
catering to the mostly-Greek and Italian local immigrant
community with a select collection of specialty liquor and
imported wines. Their influence in the store can still
be felt today.
The current Management has been in place since 1987, headed by
General Manager Sharon Rogers and Assistant Manager Linda
Bury, both of whom maintain a strong focus on customer service
as well as low prices. Sharon and Linda's expert
knowledge of their industry have propelled them to the top of
their field in retail wine and spirits marketing, which
ultimately benefits our customers.
About the
President
Since 1987, Don
King has been influential in designing, expanding and
modifying Cazenovia Liquors to the successful wine and spirits
business that it is today.
A graduate of the Tampa Wine institute in Florida, Don's
in-depth knowledge of wine steadily grows as he strives to
educate his customers on discovering affordable and quality
wine and spirits, amongst the lower-quality products typically
available. |
